Throwback Thursday: Bosgraaf Homes Past Projects

At Bosgraaf Home’s we take pride in building the best quality homes for our customers, however, building homes isn’t just what we do, its what we love. We combine passion, dreams, and a lot of hard work to give you a perfect home. Because of this, we’re proud of our past projects and enjoy sharing them with our new clients. This week we want to take you back to the beginning, and show you a few of our favorite projects along the way.

What we love about our companies history is that we didn’t really stumble into the building industry, really it stumbled into us. Before homebuilding, the Bosgraaf family managed a small family sod farm. After a couple of seasons of flooding on the land, Ted Bosgraaf decided to turn the farm into what is now known as the Sandy Pines Recreational Community. From that moment on Ted realized a new passion for building and developing, thus the company was born.

Since then we have altered and grown as a company, while still being GROUNDED.  grounded in a unique experience, grounded in innovative thinking, grounded in meticulous craftsmanship, But most of all, grounded in family…for three generations and counting.

Here is a look back on all our favorite past projects in the last couple of years!

Cobblestone Development (Grand Rapids & Holland MI)

Our cobblestone development is in both the Holland and the Greater Grand Rapids Area. This family neighborhood is equipped with a community pool, green space, basketball court, playground, gazebo, and bus stop! The style and design of these homes reflect the fun, family atmosphere that the rest of the neighborhood portrays.

Douglas River House

This project definitely goes down in our favorite projects we’ve done. This house sits on the Douglas River and came equipped with dock access and phenomenal views, However, the most interesting part of the home is the dimensions. The house is 15 ft wide and 90 feet long, while to some this seemed like impossible dimensions, Bosgraaf found a way to build this high-performance home in style.

Lakeshore Drive Homes (Oakhill & Sweetbriar)

We truly enjoyed building these homes on Lakeshore Drive. Just minutes from the beach, these homes captures a truly unique design with as stunning interiors as exteriors. Our Sweetbriar was featured in the 2017 Parade of Homes and won the 2017 best site harmony award!

Timberline West

Timberline West is one of our more recent projects and we have loved every step in this neighborhood. This community is filled with energy as it is only 5 miles from the beach and 5 miles to downtown Holland. With such a prime location, we have taken full advantage in making our projects family-friendly, custom, and a whole lot of fun.

Eagles Ridge

Our Eagle’s Ridge home was our “bells & whistles” home of 2019. This home shines as it was built with extreme craftsmanship and design. From countertops to fireplaces, and everything in between, this home has it all. It sits on a beautiful and quiet wooded property, and with the screened-in porch off the back, this Walden is guaranteed to make every morning coffee great.
